不必向客人问第二个问题。不过这句话中的动词look , 看， 在和
不同的介词搭配使用时，它后面所跟的名词也不同。我们说核对帐
单时，英语就是“ look over an invoice”。而我们要说“看看菜
单”时，英语就是“look at menu”。这是因为look over 这个
介词短语除了有“看”的意思之外，它还暗喻着“核查”的意思。
另外，您知道“看看小册子”的英语怎么说吗？这种时候我们就要
说“look through brochures”。这是因为小册子和书是要翻页阅
